Ne kete interviste do te flasim per Shqiperine, karrieren tuaj, eksperiencen por dhe shume qytete te botes qe per nje kohe te caktuar dhe jo shume te shkurter behen qytetet tuaja si Vjena, Londra, Marseja, Lioni, etj. Kam pare qe kalendari juaj eshte shume i ngjeshur i perballoni dot te gjitha?

Po kur e ben nje zanat me nje deshire kaq te madhe dhe me nje pasion te madh veshtiresine e ndjen me pak.

Vazhdoni pas 20 vitesh te keni te njejtin pasion qe te beheshit nje kengetare?

Absolutisht po. Ai pasion dhe ai zjarr qe te mban ate ambicien e mire qe te kete nje artist. Cdo fushe te mban ne kerkim te nje dickaje te re sidomos ne art. Nuk duhet te perseritesh pasi perseritja eshte vdekja e artit.

Nuk ka pasur ndonje moment ku perball nje valixheje te mbushur plot ke thene u lodha, nuk dua te nisem sot?

Ne fakt nje nga te dhenat qe stafi im po pergatiste per intervisten tuaj nenvizonte nje fakt qe, ne moshen 14-vjecare ju kishit shkuar per here te pare ne operen e Tiranes, dhe kishte qelluar qe opera e asaj dite te ishte “Traviata” dhe sipas asaj qe kishit thene vete kishit qare. C’deshet ne opera ne moshen 14-vjecare dhe si u gjendet realisht?

Eshte shume e vertete, dua ta nis pak me perpara. Njohja ime me muziken ka qene si per cdo shqiptar pasi shpirti i shqiptareve njihet permes muzikes popullore, ne rastin tim nepermjet muzikes polifonike te Shqiperise se Jugut pasi prinderit i kam nga jugu dhe kisha deshiren te degjoja kusherinjte e mi qe kendonin. Ata kane marre pjese dhe ne grupet polifonike te Gjirokastres si amator. Une nuk vij nga nje familje muzikantesh pasi babai im eshte ushtarak ndersa nena filloi si arsimtare pastaj me pune te ndryshme per te mbijetuar. Kjo ka qene njohja ime e pare me muziken popullore. Shpesh here kam provuar te mbaj iso po stonoja dhe tani me vjen zor ta them. Hapi tjeter ishte kur degjoja kenget ne RTSH do te doja te isha pjese e atij festivali, ishin deshirat feminore ne ate kohe.

Kush ishte kengetarja qe ju impresiononte?

Parashqevi Maku, ishte kengetarja qe me pelqente si shumica e femijeve te asaj kohe. Doja te isha si ajo. Nderkohe ne moshen 5 vjecare babai me regjistroi ne Pallatin e Pioniereve ku ka qene dhe nje lloj institucioni shume edukativ per femijet. Pasi aty nisnin hapat e para drejt teatrit, drejt skenes.

Por, nuk kishit asnje lidhje me muziken klasike?

Absolutisht. Doja te vazhdoja me tutje dhe bashke me mua u rrit ajo ambicia ime per te qene pjese e festivalit. Por per te realizuar kete duhej te regjistrohesha ne Lice ne moshen 14-vjecare. Ne ate periudhe per tu bere pjese e Liceut duhej te pergatisje nje pjese nga muzika klasike dhe kjo gje me detyroi ne nje fare menyre te interesohesha pak me teper dhe te merrja nje lloj kulture ne kete zhaner te muzikes klasike. Pergatitja e kesaj pjese ishte ne embrionin e ketij zhanri nuk njihja me shume se aq. Por, per te bere gjerat me te sakta vendosa te shkoja dhe te shikoja nje opera ne Teatrin e Operes dhe Baletit gjithmone ne kuader te pergatitjes per te shkuar ne Lice. Nuk e kisha idene se cfare ishte “Traviata”, nuk e kisha idene se cfare ishte muzika klasike, pakez degjoja muzike simfonike ne radio. Opera “Traviata” ishte bote tjeter, ishte fjalor tjeter. Pa e ditur fare se ku po futesha fillon Preludi, qe kur filloi preludi dhe tani qe e kujtoj duart i kam te ftohta ndjej nje emocion qe nuk e prisja sepse gjithmone kisha shprehur deshire te shkoja drejt muzikes se lehte. Per nje femije te ndrojtur si une pashe qe dicka levizi, si nje lloj dashurie ne zgjimin e pare. Akti i pare me futi ne nje bote qe nuk e kuptoja dhe deri sa arriti ne aktin e fundit ku ndodhi vdekja e Violetes, aty kam qare dhe u preka jashte mase dhe i thashe vellait: Nuk do te vdes pa kenduar njehere “Traviaten”.

Ju e fituat konkursin e Liceut perfshire dhe pjese klasike. E mbani mend cfare pjese ka qene?

Ka qene nje pjese nga opera e Verdit, “Aria e Oskarit”.

Si ishte koha e studimeve ne Tirane?

Mund te them se kam qene shume me fat qe kam qene pjese e asaj lloj disipline, gje qe do ti vije per te qeshur brezit te sotshem. Nuk kishim asnje lloj komoditeti, kishim vetem nje piano qe te jepte mundesine te ushtroheshe deri me 30 min. Por per te gjithe brezin tone qe donim te studionim pasioni i mbyste pamundesite. Ngrihesha ne 5 te mengjesit per te shkuar dhe per te pare se kush ishte i pari qe i binte pianos, madje ndonjehere hynim dhe nga dritarja.

Ju keni thene se pasi u transferuat ne Itali, ne Santa Sicilia, mesimdhenia ndryshonte krejtesisht nga ajo ne Tiranes. Ne c’kuptim ndryshonte?

Ndryshonte sepse neqoftese ne Tirane hyrja ne nje shkolle ishte nje pasion qe do me shoqeronte gjate gjithe jetes dhe kete e dija, ne Itali ishte si nje hob. Une kisha hyre ne nje rruge qe nuk kishte rruge pas.

Eshte e vertete qe e keni kenduar “Traviaten” per here te pare ne moshen 17-vjecare?

Kjo eshte e vertete. Ne rastin tone studimi i kantos eshte rezistenca vokale sepse nuk eshte nje instrument violine apo violoncel. Ne rastin e kendimit duhet nje pergatitje e forte dhe kordat e kendimit duan nje teknike te forte qe te bejne ty qe te kesh nje rezistence qe te kendosh nje opera per tre ore.

Cili ka qene fati i shokeve dhe shoqeve te klases tuaj ata qe studiuan bashke me ju, paten nje karriere apo e braktisen sic ndodhi me shume artiste pas viteve ‘90?

Fatkeqesisht disa prej tyre e braktisen nga ndryshimet radikale qe ndodhen ne ate periudhe ne Shqiperi. Keto ndryshime zgjuan tek ne ate ndjenjen e lirise dhe ndoshta pasioni per muziken qe kishim, u vu ne prove. Nje pjese e mire e tyre iken pasi pane qe nuk ishte aq e lehte qe te cash me muziken, ndersa nje pjese prej atyre qe mbaj kontakte kane ndryshuar karrieren per te mbijetuar.

Keni pasur rastin te takoni ndonje nga shoket tuaj neper turnet qe keni bere?

Ka ndodhur por jo nga shoket dhe shoqet e mija, por nga studentet qe kane qene pas meje. Rasti i fundit ishte kur dhashe premieren ne Vjen ishte Saimir Pirgun qe erdhi te me ndiqte.

Ju keni se bashku me Saimirin dhe ne Londer, dhe sipas shtypit britanik ishte hera e pare qe dy shqiptare luanin rolet kryesore ne “Traviates”?

Eshte e vertete dhe ka qene nje arritje jashtezakonisht e madhe. E para ishte nje arritje profesionale pasi ka qene tempulli muzikes klasike ku kane kenduar idhujt tane te kaluares dhe jo kushdo mund te ngjitet ne ate skene. Nga ana tjeter dy rolet kryesore diva dhe partneri, gje qe nuk u pertyp dhe shume mire pasi ne ate periudhe ne Londer lakoheshin shembujt negativ per shqiptaret por ne fund te fundit kritikat kane qene shume pozitive dhe u prit mjafte mire.

Perpara se te shkonit ne operen e Londres apo te Vjenes ku jeni sot, perpara se te benit kete karriere ju duhet te benit nje kapercim, ate kapercim qe duhej te ngriheshit qe ne 5 te mengjesit per tu ushtruar ne piano dhe te shkonit drejt ketij tregu nderkombetar. Kjo gje ndodhi ne ’93 ku Ricereli organizoi nje audicion ne Shqiperi. Si ndodhi?

Kjo gje ndodhi rastesisht pasi Ricereli ishte hera e dyte qe bente nje konkurs dhe perzgjidhte studente nga e gjithe bota. Rastesisht vajta dhe mora pjese dhe nuk kisha shume shprese se do te fitoja pasi merrnin pjese dhe kengetar te TOB-it ndersa une isha studente e viti te pare. Fati, rastesia ishte qe Ricareli me mori ne grupin e saj, dhe ironia e fatit ishte se me mori si mexosoprano dhe ky ishte nje gabim i vogel.

Cati Ricareli beri te mundur qe ju te transferoheshit nga Tirana ne Mandova te Italise. Sa kohe qendruat atje?

Qendrova dy muaj, por ai largim nga Shqiperia nuk ishte nje gezim shume i madh. Ishte rritur tek une ai pasioni dhe ambicia per te qene sa me afer skenes. Kjo ishte dhe fitorja ime e pare.

Eshte e vertete qe kur do dilnit per here te pare ne skene ne Mandova nuk kishit as veshje dhe as kepucet?

Kane qene kujtime shume te bukura dhe me nostalgji. Eshte e vertete qe une ika me pasionin per te kenduar por ai pasion do dhe nje makine mbrapa per ta mbeshtetur dhe ne fakt ika pak si ne ajer. Nje nate para se te kendoja Ricareli donte te na shikonte si jemi veshur pasi ne perfaqesonim Shqiperine. Ne ate moment nuk thoja qe nuk kam fustan por vetem ulja koken dhe mendoja se do me ikte kjo mundesi se nuk kisha veshjen e duhur. Por pasi u kompletova me te thirr emrin tim u nisa dhe me te dal ne skene me ngeci taka e kepuceve. Mu krijua nje panik per te mos thene qe te gjithe ngjyrat e ylberit kalonin ne fytyren time por u kapercye me sukses.

Ishte e veshtire te beje karriere ne fillim te viteve ’90 ne Itali?

Ka qene jashtezakonisht e veshtire. Une aty e kuptova veshtiresine dhe pasigurine drejt kesaj karriere. Kam pasur shume momente te veshtira pasi duhej te mbaja dhe veten time dhe te shkoja ne shkolle. Per te mbajt veten kam punuar me te moshuar, ne restorante dhe duhej te shkoja dhe ne shkolle pasi e fitova ate dhe u transferova ne Rome. Kam pasur shume veshtiresi pasi ishte ai mentaliteti edhe pse ishte evidentet pergatitja ime prape nuk e pertypnim dot italianet.

Ju paragjykonin italianet?

Filozofia ime ka qene qe ndoshta kjo sakrifice do t’ia vlente nje dite. Kishte diferencime pasi pedagoget nuk jepnin maksimumin e tyre me ne. Te shikonin sikur vjen nga nje planet tjeter dhe sikur kerkoje nje gje qe nuk te takonte. Te gjitha keto veshtiresi me bene qe te hyja ne nje tunel depresioni ku mesova te mbijetoj e vetme ashtu si shume shqiptare te tjere.

Kur jeni ngjitur per here te pare ne skene me muzike klasike?

Ne Shqiperi jam ngjitur ne moshen 5-vjecare ne festivalin e femijeve ne dekadat e majit, ne kongrese me kenge te muzikes se lehte. Per here te pare kam qene ne Milano ne moshen 19-20 vjecare.

Ne moshen 23 vjecare ju fituat cmimin “Pucini” ne Milano e cila eshte nje nder cmimet prestigjioze italiane. Perpara se t’ju pyes se si i ngjitet shkallet e karrieres doja te me thonit a ju ka rene rast te takoni profesoret tuaj te Santa Sicilias pasi ju u bete pjese e operave me te famshme te globit?

Gjithmone. Me teper se sa me profesorin me sekretarin e Santa Sicilias sepse ne ate periudhe fitova shkollen me duhej nje dokument qe une isha qytetare e Republikes se Shqiperise dhe kjo do me ndihmonte qe te vazhdoja studimet e ligjshme. Kjo gje nuk mu dha dhe u percolla ne nje menyre jo shume te kendshme nga ambasada. Pasi shkoj ne shkolle i them Sekretarit me vjen keq po une nuk e marre dot dokumentin dhe me duket se po humbas shkollen. Ne ato momente kam qare dhe ai e mbylli deren dhe me tha, -Do doja qe femija ime te donte shkollen keshtu si ju dhe me premtoi se do me ndihmonte dhe do te firmoste. Une ate person nuk e kam harruar dhe eshte i vetmi kontakt qe vazhdoj dhe sot ta kem.

Kur ishin njohjet e para qe u evidentuat si nje kengetare?

Une kam filluar shume shpejt te evidentohem, te jem e sinqerte. Pas konkursit te Pucinit, kam bere konkursin Ankona dhe konkursin Xandonai nje konkurs qe kisha mundesia te paguaja dhe bileten e trenit. Ishte shume e veshtire pasi ato lek qe kisha i shpenzoja per libra dhe nuk te jepej mundesia te shkoje nga nje qytet ne tjetrin per te marre pjese ne konkurse. Pasi bera te tre keto konkurse fitova, dhe qe nga ai moment kam prekur gjithe Italine, dhe gjithe Evropen per nje periudhe shume te shkurt.

Ne cfare moshe u ngjitet ne nje skene prestigjioze dhe perse u transferuat nga Italia?

Jam ngjitur ne moshen 23-24 vjece. U transferova nga Italia sepse kisha nje arsye familjare pasi shkova ne Nju Jork bashke me shokun tim te jetes, por ne fund te fundit shtepia e kengetarit ne cdo qytet qe shkon. Nuk mund te kesh nje vend kur karriera merr nje permase te atille.

Kur filloi njohja juaj nderkombetare?

Duke lene modestine menjan, cdo dalje e imja ishte nje sukses per mua. Por veshtiresite qe kishte marketingu ishin te shumta pasi ajo eshte mbeshtetja kryesore e njohjes nderkombetare. Ndersa ne Shqiperi nuk e dinin fare se cfare njohje kisha fituar une si soprano ne operat nderkombetare, madje as familja ime nuk e dinte edhe pse une ia shpjegoja por nuk e kuptonin dot. Megjithate kane qene teper pozitiv, gjithmone me thonin nese je e lumtur ti vetem vazhdo.

A paten rast te ishin ne nje nga sallat ku ju keni kenduar?

Vetem babi ka pasur mundesin kur kam qene ne Filadelfia me operen “Butterfly”. Ishte nje kurorezim i nje endrre te prinderve te mije. Dhe mami gjithmone me thoshte nese nje dite do behesh kengetare duhet te kendosh “Madam Butterfly”. Fati donte qe ima ate arriti te me shikoj duke kenduar kete opera qe ata shume e donin ne Filadelfia.
Ju ne kete koncert keni bere dhe takime me shqiptar. Kishte shume shqiptare ne salle?
Eshte e vertetet ka qene nje moment shume i vecante per mua pasi ne ate salle me duartrokiten 3 mije vete ku mes tyre kishte shume shqiptare. Sapo mbaroi koncerti shikoj nga ballkoni i katit te dyte ne mes te salles nje flamur shqiptar. Kur kam pare flamurin jam perulur, jam prekur dhe kam qare me ngasherim sa nuk ngrija dot koken. Ka qene nje emocion i jashtezakonshem.

Tre dite me pare kur une po ndiqja komentet e shtypit boteror per ju u befasova se sa me shume gjuhe u permendte fjala shqiptare dhe sa deformonin spikeret sipas tyre mbiemrin Jaho. Nje rastesi e cuditshme ju coi ne Rohal Opera te Londres. Ne 17 janar te vitit 2008 ju kenduat ne vend te Ana Neptrekes ne operen e Londres e cila ishte semur, por njoftimin e moret vetem nje dite me pare. Mbaj mend qe Ismail Kadare disa dite pas shfaqjes ne nje takim me foli me superlativa per reagimin qe britaniket paten ndaj zerit tuaj?

Ka qene nje moment shume i bukur. Aty ku eshte veshtiresia me e madhe aty eshte dhe oportuniteti me i madh. Ne ate kohe isha ne Nju Jork dhe isha duke studiuar opera tjeter per “Traviaten” ne kete rast. Nje nate perpara me merr menaxheri dhe me thote qe Ermonela keshtu eshte puna por duhet te kesh shume kuraje per te bere nje hap te tille. Ishte hera e pare qe do te kendoja ne operen e Londres, ndaje duhej te beje nje audicion per tu kenduar atje. Ne ate kohe nuk kisha vizen, dhe ata me moren duke shkelur ligjet. Pasi arrij ne aeroport hap celularin te shikoj nese do te me njoftonin per provat por asgje. Sapo shkoj ne hotel te hap valixhen me bie telefoni dhe me njoftojne qe duhej te ikja pasi kisha vetem kater ore para premieres. Nuk u prezantova si nje dive por si nje zevendesuese dhe kjo dalje ishte si nje thike me dy presa. Ne fillim nisem provat para se te hyja ne skene por per nje ore vetem mesova kush ishte dera qe do te hyja dhe cila ishte dera qe dal asgje tjeter. Para se te fillonte shfaqja del drejtori i Teatrit dhe thote se per arsye shendetesore sonte nuk do te degjoni Ana Neptreken por Ermonela Jahon. Ne kete cast publiku reagoi dhe nisen zhurmat dhe kete here thashe fati dhe shansi jane ne anen e publikut. Isha e panjohur per teatrin dhe drejtuesit e saj, cdo gje ne ate moment ja lash fatit. Fillimi ishte i veshtire por aktin e fundit te operes e mbylla me lot ne sy dhe me sukses.

Ne 2010 pas ketij suksesi u rikthyer serish ne Londer me Saimir Pirgun?

Ajo ka qene nje fitore dopio. Ka qene nje fitore dopio pasi nuk donin te paguanin nje bilete kaq te shtrenjte per te degjuar per 3 ore dy shqiptare. Per artistet eshte ligj reagimi i publikut dhe ai per ne ishte mjafte pozitiv.

Sa kushton nje bilete opera ne Londer?

Per nje premiere shkon deri ne 700- 800 paund dhe kjo ishte per dy shqiptare.

Cfare marredhenie keni me Saimir Pirgun?

Marredhenie shume te mira. Eshte e veshtire te gjesh dy shqiptare ne opera dhe u lidhem shume ne Angli per arsye qe treguam se kush ishim, na lidhi ajo egoja qe kishim te dy. Ishte nje bashkepunim i mrekullueshem, nuk kishe nevoje qe ti tregoje bej kete apo ate ne kishim gjuhe te perbashket.

Po me Inva Mulen keni kontakt?

Me Inven kam kontakte normale por i perket nje brezi tjeter. Eshte me e madhe se une dhe vijme nga dy bote te ndryshme pasi une dhe Pirgu vijme nga shkolla italiane ndersa Inva nga ajo franceze. Por, ka qene nje moment ne Trieste ku rastesia e solli qe te kendojme nje nate njera, nje nate tjetra. U komentua me nota pozitive dhe shume gazeta shkruanin qe ne ishim si shqiponja me dy koka.

Pashe skedulin tuaj dhe ne maj jeni ne Vjene, ne fund te majit dhe qershor vendoseni ne Berlin, ne gusht ne skenen e Verones, pas kesaj vendoseni ne Bilbao, ktheheni ne operen e Vjenes, pastaj ne teatrin “San Carlo” te Napolit, serish ne Berlin, Tulon, Barcelone dhe pas Barcelones ne operen e Monte Carlos, per ta mbyllur ne maj te vitit te ardhshem ne operen e Mynihut. Si mund te arrini qe brenda nje viti te arrini te zhvendoseni ne kaq shume qytete?

Eshte shume e veshtire por duhet marre cdo gje me pozitivitet. Por larmishmeria e kesaj rruge eshte publiku pasi ka dallime mes tyre. Per shembull; shkon ne France dhe dashurine qe te jep publiku eshte i vecante, te duartrokasin pafund, ndersa britaniket jane me te ftohte ata presin fundin per te vleresuar dhe per te dhene dashuri. Te njejten gje kane dhe vjenezet, por ndryshon nga vendi ne vend.

Cili publik ju pelqen me shume. Cili eshte vendi qe jeni ndjere me mire?

Kudo jam ndjere mire, pasi ne skene perpiqem te jem e vertete dhe te kendoje me shpirt. Cdo publik kur i flet me gjuhen e zemres eshte e pamundur qe mos te japin ate mirenjohje.

A ju pengon kjo zhvendosje e vazhdueshme ne jeten tuaj familjare?
Me pengon pasi te mungojne afeksionet, por nje artist duhet te kete rreth tij perkrahjen e personit qe do, ndan jeten dhe shume e shume gjera te tjera.

Vini shpesh ne Shqiperi. Po ne skenen shqiptare jeni ngjitur?

Vij cdo vit per te pare familjen time. Ndersa, ne skenen shqiptare jam ngjitur para shtate vitesh dhe e kam pas enderr te ngjitesha pasi ika nga Shqiperia ne fillimet e suksesit tim. Deshira per tu ngjitur ne skenen e TKOB-it eshte shume e madhe.

Keni pasur oferta per te ardhur ne Tirane?

Kam pasur por jane anuluar gjate rruges. Eshte shume e veshtire te bashkepunosh ne Shqiperi pasi nuk e pranojne dot qe cdo gje qe ju vjen nga jashte ka me teper vlere edhe pse ndoshta s’ka vlere se sa nje person qe flet gjuhen tende, ti ke ndare jeten dhe sukseset me te.

A eshte e vertete qe ju keni pasur deshire qe te krijoni nje shkolle te muzikes klasike ne Tirane?

Ka qene nje deshire qe ne fillim kur une ika nga Shqiperia. Kjo shkendije ndodhi ne 150 vjetorin e shtetit italian ne Verona, ku une isha diva e asaj mbremje dhe gjate darkimit u hodh si ide qe te hapej nje akademi jo vetem per muziken, por edhe per skenografine, kostumografin, instrumentistet, etj. Ajo qe mu kerkua ishte qe te beja ndermjetesin me kryetarin e Bashkise se Tiranes aktual, Lulezim Bashen. Gjate nje vizite familjare perfitova te takoja kryetarin e bashkise dhe te benim te mundur bashkepunimin dy palesh.

A ka ne Shqiperi sot talente?

Muzika do ate pasionin, ate zjarrin qe ne e kemi si popull. Besoj se ka talente, por ne art besoj se kete celes jo te gjithe e kane.

Po artiste ne nivele jo aq te njohur sa ju, qarkullojne neper skenat evropiane, te cilet kane dal nga Akademia e Arteve?

Ka artiste qe kane dal nga shkolla e Tiranes dhe jane perfeksionuar jashte Shqiperise. Kur propozova hapjen e shkolles pati disa polemika ku shpreheshin qe neve e kemi shkollen shqiptare operistike nuk duam gje tjeter. Me thoni juve ne cilen opera te botes kendohet nje opera shqiptare. Keshtu qe ka studente qe kane dal nga dera e Akademise por jane perfeksionuar ne skenat jashte Shqiperise. Figura e nje artisti eshte si guri i nje mozaiku qe i duhen te gjitha copat per te bere mozaikun me vlera te plota.

Ne te gjitha komentet per ju thuhet se nje nga idhujt tuaj ka qene Maria Calla. Vazhdon te jete?

Ka qene idhull ne kohen kur une isha ne vitin e pare te Liceut se pse ate njihja dhe enderroja te behesha si ajo pasi kishte kete pasion per muziken. Endrra ngelet enderr kur nuk behet realitet, ndersa kur ndodh e kunderta. Artisti duhet te kete personalitetin e vet. Nganjehere idhujt ndiqen edhe per tu kopjuar gje qe ngelet nje kopje e keqe.
